We’re seeking an enthusiastic RVN ready to take on a varied and rewarding role within our dedicated hospital team as Head Nurse. As a busy, RCVS accredited first opinion hospital you will be joining a large team of experienced vets, nurses and receptionists. We offer fantastic facilities such as US scanner, digital x-ray, in house lab, CT scanner, Laparoscopy equipment and much more.
As Head Nurse you would be responsible for creating and maintaining the highest standards of nursing care and professional performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting and developing clinical training for ACA’s, SVN’s and RVN’s including working as a clinical coach. They will enjoy a variety of nursing duties including patient care, surgical nursing, critical care and lab work.
About the role:
- 37.5 hours week worked over 4 or 5 days
- Shifts between 7am-10pm
- NO OOH! We have a fantastic OOH team, but you may be required to help as needed.
- 1-2 BH’s per year
