A warm and busy family based in Barnes is seeking an experienced, proactive, and energetic nanny/family assistant to support their two children aged 5 (girl) and 8 (boy) years old.
Both parents have demanding professional roles, so they are looking for someone who can genuinely help ease the mental load of family life and become a reliable, positive presence in the household.
Hours
General timings would be 1pm - 6pm with some additional hours at time during the school holidays.
They would pay for 30 hours per week across the year.
The Role
The family is looking for someone who is:
- Professional, reliable, and highly organised
- Experienced with school-aged children
- Fun, engaging, and active
- Naturally proactive with a “get up and go” attitude
- Calm and capable in a busy household
- Happy to take initiative and support the smooth running of family life
- The ideal candidate will enjoy keeping up with two energetic boys and be confident balancing childcare with light family assistant duties.
Duties include
- School pick-ups and after‑school care
- Planning fun and engaging activities
- Supporting homework and routines
- Preparing healthy meals/snacks for the children
- Managing children’s laundry and tidying play areas
- Helping organise school bags, uniforms, and schedules
- Assisting with holiday activities and outings
- Generally helping to keep family life running smoothly
