The role:
Opportunities have arisen within our Roving Night Support Service, we are looking for Care Workers to support clients in the community in need of this service across the Accrington, Blackburn, Hyndburn, Burnley, Pendle, and Rossendale areas.
Job specification:
- Visit nominated adult clients, at times directed by care coordinators and management.
- Provide personal care to clients.
- Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning and domestic support to clients.
- Share necessary and appropriate information with supervisors.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Fully comply with Company policies, procedures and approved practice, and promote the aims of the Company.
- Participate in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.
You must possess a full manual driving licence and have access to your own vehicle when required, evidence of this will be required.
The service is operated by Willowbrook carers working between 10 pm and 7 am, 7 days a week. The nights operate on a 4 on 4 off rolling pattern which could be perfect if you need to work around your children’s school hours.
When you join our inspirational carers working on the Night Support contract you will be required to work in pairs as you travel from house to house so being able to work as part of a team is essential. The visits provide a range of visits from short periods (for example toileting, repositioning, medication) to longer periods as required.
What are we looking for – Key skills and attributes:
- A caring nature, good personal values with a will to do well.

- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Experience in the care industry is preferable but not essential as full induction/training will be given to those new to the care sector.
- A Driving Licence and the use of own car are required.
