The role: We are recruiting keen and enthusiastic Care Support Workers to work in our NEW Extra Care Service, located in St Martin’s Court, Lancaster, to ensure that the residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion, alongside supporting activities in the community and within our Extra Care Service.

Job specification:

  • Visit residents within our Extra Care Services, at times directed by care coordinators and management.
  • Provide personal care to clients.
  • Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to residents.
  • Share necessary and appropriate information with the Team Leader/Manager.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Fully comply with Company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promote the aims of the Company.
  • Participate in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.

What are we looking for – Key skills and attributes:

  • A caring nature, good personal values, with a will to do well.
  • Someone who enjoys helping people and who wants to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Experience in the care industry is preferable (Level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care), but not essential as full induction/training will be given to those new to the care sector.
