Opportunities have arisen within our Roving Night Support Service; we are looking for Care Workers to support clients in the community across the Accrington, Blackburn, Hyndburn, Burnley, Pendle, and Rossendale areas.
Responsibilities
- Visit nominated adult clients, at times directed by care coordinators and management.
- Provide personal care to clients.
- Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning and domestic support to clients.
- Share necessary and appropriate information with supervisors.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Fully comply with company policies, procedures and approved practices, and promote the aims of the company.
- Participate in induction training and regular in‑service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.
- Use your own vehicle or the company manual vehicle; a clean driving licence is required. Company vehicles can be provided with proof of a clean driving licence, but employees will still need their own cars if company cars are unavailable.
- Work between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, 7 days a week, on a 4 on 4 off rolling pattern.
- Work in pairs while travelling from house to house; teamwork is essential.
- Visits may be short (e.g., toileting, repositioning, medication) or longer as required.
Requirements
- A caring nature, good personal values, and a will to do well.

- Effective communication skills.
- A positive and can‑do attitude.
- Experience in the care industry is preferable but not essential; full induction/training will be given to those new to the care sector.
- A driving licence and the use of own car required.
