Do you take pride in creating clean, welcoming, and well-presented environments for customers and colleagues? We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeper / General Assistant to support the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of our Living Well building, including our café and retail areas. This is a varied and hands‑on role where you will contribute to delivering a positive experience for all visitors, staff, and volunteers. As part of a friendly and supportive team, you will help ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and inviting, reflecting the high standards and values of Willowbrook.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across public areas, including the café, retail space, and communal areas
- Carry out cleaning duties such as: Vacuuming, dusting, and polishing
- Mopping floors and maintaining surfaces
- Cleaning washrooms and ensuring supplies are replenished
- Internal window and surface cleaning
- Ensure waste is disposed of safely and appropriately
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
- Safely use and store cleaning equipment and materials in line with health and safety guidance
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff
