Role and Responsibilities

We are recruiting Care Support Workers to work in our Extra Care Service located in Hare Hill, Littleborough. Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Supporting activities in the community, and within our Extra Care Services.
  • Visiting residents in Extra Care Services as directed by care coordinators and management.
  • Providing personal care to clients.
  • Providing medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to residents.
  • Sharing necessary and appropriate information with the Team Leader/Manager.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork.
  • Fully complying with Company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promoting the aims of the Company.
  • Participating in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.

Key Qualities and Qualifications

  • Having a caring nature and good personal values with a will to do well.
  • Enjoyment in helping people and a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Experience in the care industry is preferable (Level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care), but induction/training will be provided for those new to the sector.
