Role and Responsibilities
We are recruiting Care Support Workers to work in our Extra Care Service located in Hare Hill, Littleborough. Your duties will include:
- Ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Supporting activities in the community, and within our Extra Care Services.
- Visiting residents in Extra Care Services as directed by care coordinators and management.
- Providing personal care to clients.
- Providing medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to residents.
- Sharing necessary and appropriate information with the Team Leader/Manager.
- Completing all necessary paperwork.
- Fully complying with Company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promoting the aims of the Company.
- Participating in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.
Key Qualities and Qualifications
- Having a caring nature and good personal values with a will to do well.
- Enjoyment in helping people and a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
- Effective communication skills.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Experience in the care industry is preferable (Level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care), but induction/training will be provided for those new to the sector.
