Role and Responsibilities
We are recruiting Care Support Workers to work in our Extra Care Service located in Hare Hill, Littleborough. Your duties will include ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion, supporting activities in the community, and within our Extra Care Services.
- Visit residents in Extra Care Services as directed by care coordinators and management.
- Provide personal care to clients.
- Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to residents.
- Share necessary and appropriate information with the Team Leader/Manager.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Fully comply with Company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promote the aims of the Company.
- Participate in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.
Key Qualities and Qualifications
- Having a caring nature and good personal values with a will to do well.
- Enjoyment in helping people and a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
- Effective communication skills.
- A positive and can‑do attitude.
- Experience in the care industry is preferable (Level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care), but induction/training will be provided for those new to the sector.
