Liaise with Shift Supervisors/Management and production teams to ensure that the preparation, portioning, and packaging of food products are conducted in strict accordance with established company standards and specific customer requirements.

Ensure a consistent and proactive emphasis on quality across all aspects of daily production operations. Serve as an integral member of the Quality Assurance Team, supporting the implementation and maintenance of systems that ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, quality, and legislative standards.

Lead the implementation of corrective and preventative action plans in response to identified non-conformances, including the investigation of root causes. Plan, conduct, and oversee the testing and inspection of raw materials and finished products to verify adherence to product specifications and quality standards.

Ensure that all production and quality assurance documentation is completed accurately and maintained in full compliance with food safety regulations and internal policies. Perform routine calibration and verification of critical monitoring equipment, including temperature probes and weighing devices, to ensure ongoing measurement accuracy.

Supervise and validate hygiene and sanitation processes within the production environment, including ATP testing and environmental swabbing. Conduct a range of internal audits, including those focused on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, glass and hard plastic control, and other areas as required by the Quality Management System.

Monitor gas levels, product weights, and temperatures to ensure conformity with product specifications and regulatory requirements. Observe and enforce adherence to operational procedures, including those related to personal hygiene, foreign body prevention, allergen management, labelling control, and traceability, ensuring full compliance with internal, customer, and statutory standards.

Engage in customer audits, offering full co-operation and ensuring that all relevant documentation and processes adhere to customer specifications and industry standards. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager in support of the company’s overall quality objectives.
