Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment in the factory (machinery, belts, etc.) are cleaned to a high standard, as per procedure - full training and PPE will be provided.
- Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
- Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
- To comply with managers/supervisors' instructions in a timely manner.
- Report to your Supervisor/Manager of the area concerned any maintenance requirements.
- To adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations.
- Promptly report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your manager or supervisor.
- To work in a manner as to prevent or minimize the risk of accidents.
- To adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production.
- To undertake such other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required.
- Undertake Chemical training.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to hours and duties.
