HR Assistant in Newtownards

The role is a fixed term contract for 4 months, 3 days a week. 9am-5pm. Key Responsibilities & Duties Recruitment & Onboarding:Publishing job vacancies, coordinating interview schedules, drafting offer letters and employment contracts, and preparing comprehensive induction packs for new joiners. Employee Lifecycle Administration:Processing documentation for starters, movers, and leavers. Coordinating contractual adjustments, tracking annual leave, and managing absence or sickness records. First-Line Support:Acting as the welcoming first point of contact for internal staff queries regarding company policies, perks, and standard HR procedures. Key Requirements & Qualifications Professional Experience:Demonstrated background handling administrative tasks in a fast-paced corporate or office environment. Previous experience specifically aligned with HR, recruitment, or payroll workflows is highly preferred. Technical Proficiency:Strong command Outlook, Word, and Excel alongside an aptitude for navigating database software or specialized HRIS networks. Core Education / Training:A baseline qualification such as a CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice (or an equivalent HR training pathway) is highly desirable.
