  • Knowledge and application of technical skills to operate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan. The machine operator will perform a series of routine tasks: quality checks, keeping machines running, organising of parts.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily machine checks ensuring all equipment is working to peak performance.

  • Report malfunctions or technical repair requirements in a timely manner.

  • Following a production schedule and ensuring products are produced on time and to the highest of standard.

  • Ensure H&S policies and Company procedures are always followed.

  • Maintain a level of Daily housekeeping.

  • Also be willing to do overtime if necessary due to high demand for our furniture at certain peak periods.

  • Be willing to do other tasks within the workshop if required

You need to have had previous experience with a similar role and be competent in the operation of a series of machines in order to fulfil the role., * Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Experienced on Biesse CNC , preferred (But not essential).

  • Have an eye for detail and quality, as products must be finished to a high standard.

  • Be able to follow instructions well.

  • Have the ability to work using their own initiative as well as part of a team.

  • Be self-motivated, flexible and reliable.
