Willowbrook Care Home is situated in the heart of Birmingham, providing specialist support for residents living with dementia and mental health conditions. Our home offers a safe, welcoming and vibrant environment where every resident is supported to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
We are recruiting a warm, creative and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator on a fixed term contract for a minimum of nine months to cover maternity leave. What You Will Do
As the Activities Coordinator, you will design and deliver a varied programme of events and one to one sessions that encourage social interaction, creativity and enjoyment, always tailored to the needs and preferences of each resident. You will take time to learn residents’ life stories and interests so activities have purpose and meaning, supporting emotional wellbeing and promoting connection. You will work closely with colleagues and families to coordinate meaningful routines and outings, maintain accurate records of participation, and help create an environment where residents feel engaged, supported and valued.

- Creativity and enthusiasm to design fun and engaging activities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Experience planning or leading activities is desirable but not essential
