Location & Schedule: Willow Tree Family Doctors, 4 days per week (Tue‐Thu)
Responsibility Summary:
- Consult patients face‐to‐face, by telephone and online via eConsult.
- Take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret investigations.
- Develop and implement diagnosis and treatment plans under GP supervision.
- Document care and complete required paperwork, including fee claims.
- Participate in chronic disease management, recall and cohort management.
- Attend multi‐disciplinary meetings, educational meetings and clinical improvement activities.
- Contribute to the practice's quality improvement and performance target initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completed a postgraduate Physician Associate course (PG Diploma or MSc).
- Maintained professional registration with the Faculty of Physician Associates and the General Medical Council.
- Evidence of UK PA National Re‐Certification Exam, retaken every six years.
- Strong clinical decision‐making, communication and teamwork skills.
Training & Development:
- Required to undertake 50 hours of continuing medical education per year and attend regular practice meetings.
Compensation: £37,794.24 to £53,255.52 a year, depending on experience.
