We are a well established small business garage currently looking for a Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business and become a key member of our operation and company. Use your industry experience to complete high quality maintenance, diagnostic and servicing.

It is essential that you have been fully trained and qualified as an Automotive Vehicle Technician to NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 or above.

The role will have a 3 month probation period before any final decisions are made

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
  • Work on more complex or time consuming jobs
  • Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
  • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable

Required Skills and Experience

Hold a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician. You will hold a full UK driving license and ideally 3+ years experience. In addition to your prior experience, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good working manner, working with others and independently
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to use own initiative
