What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll support the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, ensuring risk management practices remain proportionate, effective, and aligned to the needs of the business.
  • You’ll maintain the firm’s Risk Register and be responsible for executing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) to help ensure risks and controls are consistently assessed.
  • You’ll facilitate regular risk reviews with first-line risk owners, challenge risk assessments, track management actions, and escalate overdue remedial items where appropriate.
  • You’ll support the ongoing maintenance and development of the firm’s Operational Resilience Framework, including Important Business Services, impact tolerances, dependency mapping, scenario testing, remediation tracking and governance reporting.
  • You’ll maintain and coordinate Business Continuity Planning activity.

What we’re looking for:

  • We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk Manager from a UK regulated Financial Services environment, with proven experience of working within a mortgage lender, bank, building society or specialist lending organisation.
  • You’ll have experience of the RCSA process, of maintaining Risk Registers and ideally also of supporting Operational Resilience and Business Continuity frameworks.
  • You’ll also need to possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
