Senior Financial Crime Manager – 2nd Line (6-month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the Bristol office, 4 days working from home)
Salary: To c.£80k + benefits

You’ll be working for a well-established, successful Financial Services business that’s been growing rapidly, both organically and acquisitively.
This is an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract that comes with all the employee benefits of a permanent role, and there’s potential for the contract to be extended or even made permanent.
What you'll be doing
In this 2nd Line role, you’ll support the MLRO and deputise for them in their absence. You’ll be the Financial Crime subject matter expert for the business, providing advice and guidance across all levels of the firm.
You’ll keep senior management informed of any relevant regulatory changes and assist in the identification and assessment of emerging risks.
In addition, you’ll develop and deliver Financial Crime training programmes and will also provide quality assurance of 1st Line Financial Crime Operations.
What you’ll need
You’ll have accumulated considerable experience in 2nd Line Financial Crime roles in the Financial Services arena and will be viewed as a subject matter expert in this field.
You’ll have experience of horizon scanning and policy development and will ideally also have experience of designing and delivering Financial Crime training.
