Fancy establishing the paraplanning function for a small, ambitious Financial Planning firm? And adding some Compliance experience to your already impressive CV? And what about having plenty of flexibility to manage your own time between working in the office and from home? This is an opportunity to do all of the above.

You’ll be working for a growing Financial Services group operating across wealth planning, insurance, workplace pensions and international payments that combines personal, human advice with the use of innovative technology.

As the firm’s first dedicated Paraplanner, you’ll have a blank canvas to use all you’ve learnt to date to build a best-in-class paraplanning function. This really will be your baby!

You’ll support Financial Advisers in developing tailored financial strategies aligned with each client’s goals, risk profiles and financial circumstances. You’ll conduct thorough research and analysis across key planning areas including investments, pensions, protection, and tax planning. You’ll also prepare high quality suitability reports and recommendation letters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

In addition, you’ll support the Compliance Manager by reviewing client advice files to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards, acting as a point of contact for advice file queries from advisers and administrators. And finally, you’ll also be responsible for training and developing the growing team of Financial Administrators.

You’ll be an experienced paraplanner who has achieved at least a Level 4 qualification in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) and will have a strong working knowledge of investment products, tax planning and retirement planning. You’ll also need excellent communication and organisational skills.
