Salary: £75k - £90k FTE

What’s in it for you?

  • Whilst this is an initial 6-month fixed term contract, there is a very strong probability that it will become a permanent position.

  • You can shape the part-time hours (2 days per week) around any personal commitments to suit you.

  • You’ll act as the primary point of contact for all Financial Crime matters, staying ahead of any regulatory developments and advising the business on any associated risks.
  • You’ll act as a point of escalation to investigate and report any suspicious activity in accordance with regulatory requirements, including filing Suspicious Activity Reports and liaising with the NCA as and when required.
  • You’ll initially manage one direct report, a deputy MLRO, but will then oversee the growth of the Financial Crime function both on and offshore.

What we’re looking for

  • You’ll be an experienced MLRO with experience in an international money transfers business and a proven track record of maintaining and updating relevant Financial Crime and compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • You’ll have a ‘start-up’ mentality, be commercially astute and be happy operating in a hands-on capacity.
