You’ll report directly into a very talented Head of Compliance who’ll be your mentor and coach, ensuring your career is on an upward trajectory. The role itself is really broad, providing plenty of opportunity to broaden your skills and experience, whilst also providing lots of exposure to the wider business. You’ll be working for a Consumer Credit firm that has been growing rapidly in recent times and is poised to enter new markets. It’s a really exciting time to join and this growth will almost certainly see the Compliance function expand further over the next year. As a result, it’s envisaged that this role will develop into a Compliance Manager position in the not-too-distant future. And finally, it’s a great place to work.

What you’ll be doing: You’ll be supporting the Head of Compliance with a wide variety of Compliance duties but with a particular focus on assisting with the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including executing thematic reviews. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing and updating Compliance policies and for assisting with FCA returns using RegData and Connect. Other duties will include Financial Promotions approvals, handling Compliance queries and complaints management and investigation.

What we’re looking for: You’ll have gained 2+ years Compliance experience in the Consumer Credit arena and will be familiar with the regulations impacting this sector, including CONC and Consumer Duty in particular. This experience will ideally include assisting with execution of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, whilst any experience of FCA submissions using RegData and/or Connect would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this role.
