Due to continued growth and internal development, they are now looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly and down-to-earth finance team. You will work alongside an approachable and knowledgeable Credit Supervisor and Manager who are big believers in training, mentoring and encouraging progression at your own pace. Day to Day duties will include:
- Proactive collection of overdue invoices across a varied customer base
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to manage risk and resolve queries
- Chasing payments by phone and email in a professional customer-focused way
- Posting customer payments and maintaining accurate ledgers on systems
- Producing and issuing invoices, statements and supporting documentation
- Handling daily queries from clients, resolving them promptly and efficiently
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and cash allocations
- Supporting aged debtor reporting with commentary and analysis
- Reviewing credit limits and managing held orders
- Working closely with sales and internal stakeholders to manage debt and processes
