The Role
The Client Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that high-quality service is delivered while identifying opportunities for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Meeting with clients onsite and guiding and advising them with the support of the team.
- Overseeing the preparation of accounts and tax computations, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping to develop their skills and maintain high professional standards.
- Providing financial and business advisory services, including tax planning and strategic support.
- Liaising with HMRC and other external entities as needed.
- Reviewing client debtor balances and ensuring all client data is accurate.
- Addressing client queries and directing them to the appropriate department when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified (AAT, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with solid experience in an accountancy practice.
- A proven track record in client management and business advisory.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the potential to be able to motivate and mentor individuals, you don’t need previous experience of this.
