We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team and help lead the delivery of outstanding care.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home while leading by example and providing guidance to the staff team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting young people in accordance with their care plans, placement plans, and risk assessments.
- Acting as a positive role model and promoting positive behaviour.
- Leading shifts and ensuring the home operates safely and effectively.
- Supporting and mentoring Residential Support Workers.
- Building positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals.
- Completing high-quality daily records, incident reports, and care documentation.
- Promoting education, independence, life skills, health, and emotional wellbeing.
- Supporting young people to access education, appointments, hobbies, and community activities.
