Overview
Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer with good administration and IT skills. You will be a vital support to the Events team, helping us to deliver a calendar of sporting, community and high-profile events, ultimately raising vital funds to deliver our services.
Responsibilities
Whatβs involved?
Working closely with the Major Events team to ensure the seamless execution of events, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Providing guest management support, such as:
- Assisting the Event Officer with guest inquiries and requests
- Entering guest information into the database
- Updating the database post-event with details such as raffle ticket sales, pledge cards, and auction contracts
- Assisting with auction fulfilment following the event
- Supporting the Event Manager with various event-related tasks as needed in the lead up to and following events.
- Carrying out research related to our events whether this be for the procurement of items, or to see what events and activities other charities are up to.
How long and how often?
- We are ideally seeking an ongoing commitment of at least 5 hours per week. We would be looking for regular support on either a Tuesday or Thursday, when the Major Events team is in the office.
