Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team. As a member of the care team, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality care to residents, ensuring their health and well-being are managed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, assessing their health needs, and delivering appropriate treatment as needed. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans and ensure they are maintained in line with professional and company guidelines.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about the care and progress of residents.
- Administration & Records: Accurately document care plans, medication administration, and other essential records. You will be responsible for reviewing care plans on a monthly basis or when changes occur.
- Leadership & Support: Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and new team members, assisting them in understanding their duties and offering ongoing support and training.
- Health & Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff, adhering to company policies, and following infection control and NMC guidelines.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse registered with NMC
- Experience in nursing or relevant care settings, with a genuine interest in working with elderly or end-of-life residents.
- Strong communication skills, both with colleagues and residents/families.
- Ability to lead a team and work well with others.
- Valid DBS (Police Check) and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, though support will be given to newly qualified staff.
