Willo Recruitment is currently supporting a well-established and highly regarded nursery based in Birmingham / B7 in the search for a committed and experienced Assistant Nursery Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early years professional looking to step up or continue in a leadership role within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
The nursery, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, has a capacity of 77 children and is run by a long-standing team of passionate staff who are committed to giving children the best possible start in life. As Assistant Nursery Manager, you’ll be working closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations and ensure that every child receives high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards. This is a hands-on role that will see you supporting the development of an engaging curriculum, mentoring and leading team members, and ensuring the nursery remains compliant with all regulatory and safety requirements. You’ll also play a key part in maintaining strong relationships with parents, supporting recruitment and rota planning, and contributing to the setting’s financial sustainability.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education
- Previous experience in a nursery leadership or supervisory role (ideally as a Deputy or Assistant Manager)

- Excellent communication and leadership skills
