Due to a recent retirement, we are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Construction South team. You will focus on winning submissions for projects across South London and the South East. Leading first-stage tenders, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality bids that will impress our customers. We are committed to truly understanding our customers' needs and developing sustainable solutions that are articulated in clear and attractive submissions.
Working flexibly from home and from one of our offices (based in Weybridge and Dartford), you will have a passion for creating high quality bids and must be able to demonstrate the skills and capabilities outlined below:
- Lead the bid strategy
- Motivate and inspire the team to get the best from each individual subject matter expert
- Ensure the board of directors support our bid winning strategy, through continuous influence
- Understand the entire bid submission and influence our approach to align with the 'win strategy' (including the commercials and programme)
- Be accountable for everything that goes into the bid
- Agree individual roles and responsibilities
- Work with the Proposals Manager to write bid responses
- Check progress and support bid team members
- Define and shape the visual presentation of the submission
- Provide feedback to bid team members about their performance on the bid

- Development skills – be happy to manage a line report.
- English literature or journalism degree or equivalent qualification. (Desired)
