The Role
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully leading and delivering complex projects. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with customers and supply chain partners. You will be the driving force behind our most significant projects, taking responsibility from early customer engagement through to successful handover. This includes:
- Leadership: Building and inspiring teams, and making key decisions that shape the success of your projects.
- Delivery: Leading teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Preconstruction: Collaborating with customers and developing workable programmes.
You’ll ensure that every aspect of delivery meets our high standards, including quality, cost, time, and above all, safety. Essential and Desirable Criteria
- Demonstrable success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Proven ability to control costs, timing, and quality against targets.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to interpret contract documents, programmes, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience managing diverse teams, including direct employees, consultants, and supply chain partners.
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work certification.
- SMSTS certificate.
- Valid driving licence.
- Degree in a construction-related field.
- Progress towards MCIOB membership.
- Familiarity with planning software.
