Willmott Dixon is recruiting an Estimator for our Yorkshire region, based in our Morley office three days a week with remote work two days. Projects range from 10m to 80m in various sectors, including Education, Leisure, Transport, Blue Light, Commercial and Health. As an Estimator you will play a vital role in ensuring we deliver the right net cost for our customers – on time, accurately and to the highest standard.
You will work collaboratively with the pre-construction team and supply chain partners to develop robust and detailed cost plans aligned with customer requirements, project scope and current legislation. You will lead or support the estimating process for projects and play a key role in procurement strategy development.
Qualifications
- Good numeracy skills and strong written and spoken English.
- 5 GCSEs (A-C grade) or equivalent, including Maths.
- A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management, or an HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering (including industrial placement).
- Minimum relevant level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4 etc).
- Desirable: Working towards MCIOB / MRICS.
