We have a fantastic opportunity for an Architect/Architectural Technician to join our in‑house Architecture and Technical Design Team at Willmott Dixon. The role requires robust technical knowledge and a working knowledge of UK Building Regulations to ensure all outputs comply with the necessary legislation, associated standards and our policies and procedures. You will be expected to deliver large schemes and produce detailed technical drawing packages, working with Revit and other design software. The role supports hybrid working; the team is usually based at our Hitchin office on Monday and Tuesday, with occasional travel to other offices and the option to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver large architectural schemes from RIBA Stage 3 onwards.
- Produce detailed technical drawings and working drawing packages.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and Warranty Guidance.
- Support the team through specification and material selection.
- Work autonomously within project timelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experienced Revit user.
- Strong technical, specification and material knowledge.
- Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
- Ability to produce detailed technical drawings.
- Capability to work autonomously.
- Desirable: experience within Department for Education, Defence, or Healthcare sectors.
