Lime Plasterer and Sustainable Building Specialist

Full-time Position with Career Development About the Role: We are seeking an experienced plasterer to join our specialist team, focusing on lime plastering and sustainable building practices. While prior lime plastering experience isn’t required, we’re looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a genuine interest in sustainable construction methods. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in traditional plastering, including external rendering work with materials such as acrylic and monocouche, screeding. Demonstrated understanding of substrate preparation and material behavior, particularly regarding suction control and moisture management Practical experience with various beading types and their appropriate application Knowledge of electrical trunking installation and remediation Strong problem solving abilities and technical understanding Personal Qualities: Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work Professional appearance and excellent personal presentation Outstanding cleanliness standards when working in clients’ homes Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and embracing sustainable building practices Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Training and Development: Comprehensive training in lime plastering techniques will be provided Additional training in thermal insulation and airtightness systems Opportunity to develop expertise in sustainable building practices Terms: Initial 3-month probationary period with permanent position upon successful completion Competitive salary based on experience Full-time position with regular hours Tools and equipment supplied Requirements: Valid driver’s license Right to work in the country References from previous employers demonstrating reliability and workmanship Physical fitness for construction work Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and follow company dress code The ideal candidate will combine technical plastering skills with an eagerness to learn sustainable building techniques.
