Willis’s has an opportunity for a Gully Cleaning Operative/labourer to join the Highways Maintenance and Drainage team, working on the Cheshire East Highways Contract. You will be working as part of a 2-man crew undertaking essential drainage and gully maintenance works across the network and carrying out general labouring work where necessary. This is a great opportunity for an operative looking to gain highways experience or already has experience, to carry out consistent work as part of a well-established local company.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out gully cleaning and drainage maintenance
- Operating jetting and vacuum equipment
- Working alongside HGV gully wagon drivers
- Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Adhering to all health & safety and highways regulations
- Reporting and record keeping where necessary
Requirements
- CSCS Card preferable but not essential as training is available

- Previous experience in highways or drainage works preferable but not essential
- A reliable and safety-conscious operative
