The predicted salary is between 22000 - 36000 £ per year.
This is an exciting role which involves a varied workload supporting the team with revenue control activities, balance sheet reconciliations and opportunities to work with other stakeholders internally and externally. It’s a role with good training and development and will involve an opportunity to study towards the ACCA qualification with then potential further opportunities for career progression in the future. This role is based in Ipswich with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
The Role
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Support the revenue manager with revenue control adherence and ASC 606 related activities
- Assist with certain FCA CASS 5 client money activities and preparation of regulatory returns
- Support preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and FRS101
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
- Liaise with other onshore and offshore teams as required
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during statutory and SOX audits
- Contribute to process improvements within the controllership function
- Other ad-hoc project work as required
Qualifications
- AAT Qualified or recent graduate in Finance or Accounting
- Desire to study towards full ACCA qualification
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational ability
- Ability to analyse complex or high volumes of data
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Audit experience is an advantage
