Description
Lead with Expertise. Deliver with Impact. Shape the Future of Pensions.
Our work touches the lives of millions of people. WTW Outsourcing Business is dedicated to helping our clients deliver excellent experience to the members of their pension schemes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join WTW’s Outsourcing Business as a Senior Pensions Calculation Specialist within the Business Solutions function of our Outsourcing Business Technology team.
In this role, you’ll work alongside a highly skilled team of onshore and offshore specialists, supporting a wide range of Defined Benefit (DB) occupational pension schemes. As WTW continues its impressive growth—partnering with some of the largest pension schemes, delivering for LifeSight, supporting leading insurers, and rolling out our innovative OneDB proposition—you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence, improving ways of working, and creating greater efficiency across our delivery model.
We’re looking for someone with deep expertise in DB pensions, especially in areas such as Guaranteed Minimum Pensions (GMP), GMP Equalisation, and Barber period calculations. You’ll bring both strategic insight and hands-on skill to lead complex work, mentor others, and help shape smarter, scalable solutions.
If you’re ready to take the lead, collaborate with passionate professionals, and make a meaningful impact in the pensions industry—we’d love to hear from you.
At WTW, we trust you to know your work and the people, tools and environment you need to be successful. The majority of our colleagues work in a ”hybrid” style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in office interactions dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients. Our flexibility is rooted in trust and “hybrid” is not a one-size-fits-all solution. We understand flexibility is key to supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce and so we encourage requests for all types of flexible working as well as location-based arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter to discuss more.

- Build confidence in expressing ideas in conference calls or dealing with challenging situations.
- Providing an efficient, professional service to meet all client needs and to promote the WTW brand.
- Accountable for the delivery of all projects within your capacity.
- Work towards developing and optimizing end to end automation.
- Build on technical expertise/capabilities/skills and contribute towards measurable improvements.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and single team culture to increase end to end automation efficiencies and results.
