This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working 2 days per week from the office.

The Role

To increase our fast‑growing share of this lucrative market, we need full‑energy, money motivated and think‑on‑your‑feet SDRs to open more doors. Primarily through cold calling, you’ll contact Finance and HR Directors, concisely and compellingly highlighting the problems you know they’re facing with their current outdated and uncommunicative pension provider, to whom they and their employees have been collectively sending hundreds of thousands, even millions, of pounds. You will pique their interest in hearing more about how Cushon can ensure they finally glean value from their most expensive employee benefit.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Booking meetings with FDs and HRDs for the Cushon Account Executives to follow up with.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of the entire Cushon proposition including Marketing, Client Success, Implementation and Investment, and how we fit in the competitive landscape.
  • Always maintaining a highly professional manner in interactions with both clients‑to‑be and all Cushon teams.
  • Prioritising and excelling in these will put you in great stead for your career ahead.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Grit and discipline because you will not be motivated after getting 70 voicemails. Create your own luck and go again.
  • To be able to think on your feet, expect the “no’s” - that’s when your job starts.
  • Flawless spelling, grammar and attention to detail. Your emails with typos will be binned. Take pride in your work; you are the first impression.
  • Energy; it’s contagious and you will get nothing but “no’s” if you’re flat.
  • Knowledge - is POWER, people buy from those they trust, so be an expert.
  • You do not need sales experience, you need a hungry, can‑do, will‑succeed attitude.
