Great opportunity to join us as a Portfolio Analyst – Investment Solutions Growth as part of the Solutions team. The Solutions team seeks to help investors access our best thinking and implementation when it comes to investment funds and strategies. They are client-friendly subject matter experts with a commercial focus responsible for developing our strategy, growing our client base and managing existing client relationships. We offer solutions across the full range of listed and private markets, including alternative asset classes, all structured to give investors the best chance of meeting their strategic investment goals. Our institutional client-base includes a range of pension funds, endowments, foundations and private wealth platforms.
You will be supported by your colleagues to learn about our business and apply your skills and experience to our solutions and client portfolios. The role will be London based and will provide support to our European and International team. The RoleYou will work alongside the Lead Portfolio Specialists and Portfolio Analysts within the business for our investment funds and strategies, helping to prepare and maintain sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs across asset classes. You will provide pipeline support by assisting with CRM updates, tracking leads, and monitoring progress against sales targets. This may include building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into sales performance and pipeline health.
You will support senior colleagues in our marketing efforts and work closely with compliance teams to ensure all marketing materials and sales content meet regulatory and internal standards before distribution. You will work with colleagues to prepare sales/marketing proposals for both internal and external use, provide responses to RFPs, pitches, and due diligence processes on our solutions.
PeopleThe role will require you to build strong networks internally in the Investments business and to collaborate effectively across teams in a timely and efficient manner. The Solutions team is a key growth area for the business so we welcome candidates with an interest in sales/marketing and the ability to gain a commercial understanding of the attractiveness of our investment solutions relative to the broader market. We will support you to develop a natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
You will work in a very collaborative team and have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, to develop your own skills as well as providing support to more junior colleagues across the business. We are happy to support you towards professional qualifications, for example the CFA.
What you’ll bringWe would expect a candidate for a role at this level to have some relevant experience although applicants with no prior work experience will also be considered. Degree level education in any discipline, but you will need to demonstrate an interest in investments and a desire to deepen this knowledge over time. Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy. Strong communication skills. Exceptional aptitude for following up and following through on assigned tasks.
Knowledge from a previous role in investment management producing marketing content and sales aides, or providing client service would be advantageous but not essential. The MS Office suite is used daily so experience working with these programs is beneficial, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM for managing client and sales data and proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards to support sales insights is beneficial. An interest to use AI (e.g. CoPilot) to improve workflow and efficiency.
