Overview
In this role you advise clients on risk and health-related insurances and help design and manage their benefit programs. You work with cross‑functional colleagues to renew, redesign, and optimize group insurance services, and support wellbeing initiatives across client organisations. You will stay ahead of regulatory changes and manage interactions with providers to deliver high‑quality, credible guidance. This is a meaningful opportunity to influence workforce health at scale within a Large Corporate Risk Benefits team.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advisory on risk and related insurances for client programmes
- Collaborate with Risk, Health & Benefits and wider teams to design and manage benefit programmes
- Stay abreast of economic, regulatory changes and apply insights to client work
- Liaise with providers, using negotiation and influencing skills
- Service and retain existing clients with high-level service and credibility
- Plan and manage renewals for client portfolios
- Design and redesign client benefit offerings
- Assist with re-broking exercises and verify provider contract terms
- Address client queries and maintain quality control
- Develop colleagues' knowledge of the risk market and best practices
Key requirements
- up-to-date technical knowledge in Employee Benefits
- strong knowledge of the group risk market (GR1 helpful) with healthcare experience advantageous but not essential
- consulting experience in employee benefits risk market
- strong written and oral communication skills
- ability to work with minimal supervision and within cross-disciplinary teams
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- quick learner, able to manage workload and work efficiently in a professional environment
- understanding of broader employee health issues and wellbeing/technology platforms advantageous
