WTW is seeking an experienced Cyber Account Executive to join our FINEX Cyber team in Ipswich. This is a mid‑senior‑level opportunity for a driven and technically confident professional to take ownership of a portfolio of UK cyber insurance clients, lead renewal strategies, and contribute directly to the evolution of WTW’s cyber proposition. Working closely with senior leadership, underwriting partners and global colleagues, you will play a key role in shaping client outcomes, influencing placement strategy, and driving commercial growth across our UK cyber portfolio. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, visibility, and impact; ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their cyber broking career.
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Act as the day‑to‑day lead for a portfolio of mid‑to‑large UK cyber clients.
- Own renewal preparation, client strategy discussions, and placement execution.
- Drive retention, identify growth opportunities, and support cross‑sell initiatives across WTW.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships at multiple levels within client organisations.
- Provide clear, commercially focused advice on cyber coverage options, emerging exposures, and market developments.
Broking, Placement & Market Engagement
- Lead or support the placement of cyber insurance programmes into the London and regional markets.
- Prepare high‑quality market submissions, negotiate terms and conditions, and secure competitive outcomes for clients.
- Interpret underwriting feedback and influence market positioning through strong narrative, data insights, and negotiation.
- Contribute to placement strategy alongside senior brokers and FINEX leadership.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key cyber underwriters across the UK market.
Technical Expertise & Portfolio Support
- Analyse cyber risk information, assess client exposures, and translate technical details into actionable recommendations.
- Support the development of cyber insights, benchmarking, modelling outputs and client‑ready materials.
- Contribute to reporting, stewardship meetings, and portfolio reviews for key accounts.
- Stay abreast of cybersecurity trends, claims activity, regulatory changes, and shifts in market appetite.
Collaboration & Team Contribution
- Work closely with colleagues across FINEX, Claims, Risk Advisory, Analytics, and the wider WTW network to deliver integrated solutions.
- Mentor and support junior brokers, analysts and apprentices within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and client delivery frameworks.
- Uphold WTW’s standards of compliance, accuracy, documentation, and operational excellence.
Qualifications What You’ll Bring
- Experience in cyber insurance or commercial lines broking/underwriting with exposure to cyber clients.

- Good understanding of cyber coverage structures, risk considerations, and insurer requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience interacting with London or regional markets.
