We have several opportunities to join WTW’s long established but growing Marine Hull team in Ipswich, handling a varied range of insurance products for direct and wholesale clients from all geographies.
The Role:
- Responsible for a variety of aspects of the handling and broking of Marine Hull accounts.
- Servicing clients on a single policy or portfolio placement basis.
- Understanding a clients or prospect’s business, coverage requirements and key issues.
- Manage relationships and placement requirement with the relevant insurance markets.
- Determine appropriate solutions, structuring and pricing.
- Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy.
- Create and grow relationships with underwriters in UK and international markets.
- Assist with the department’s sales processes and the development of new business.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new business enquiries and convert enquiries to orders where possible.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with WTW’s guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure good relationships and communication with other WTW associates.
- Understand and use relevant WTW systems.
