The Business
WTW Investments business aims to change investment for the better for the benefit of its clients. To achieve this, we look to hire and retain bright, hungry and dynamic people, provide opportunities for them to continue to develop their skills and then empower them to make a difference. Our client base of leading investment institutions (including many of the world’s largest pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds) demand excellence and creative solutions to the investment challenges they face. Our business is developing in exciting new ways and at the forefront of these is our effort to diversify our client base from our typical pension fund client focus into new markets like wealth management, charities, endowment and foundations. Our large team of investment professionals, spanning capital markets, portfolio management and investment research creates a unique platform from which to continue to grow our business in specialist areas. This is a key focus of Inv2027, our strategic plan. The team responsible for this part of our business is GB Wealth and Retail team. The team are focused on servicing clients and expanding our client base within the GB Wealth and Retail channel by creating solutions for our clients across business, strategic or investment advice, outsourced investment management and WTW influenced funds. We are a small, but growing team of 12, and we service clients with £12bn AUMA.
The Role
This role provides the candidate with an opportunity to join the GB Wealth and Retail team, a key focus for the global business, as an analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with the UK team responsible for servicing and growing our client base in a market at the heart of the business. We are looking for a full‑time investment analyst who will be part of a collaborative team of colleagues.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Prepare sales/marketing proposals for prospective clients
- Upload meeting notes and prospect correspondence electronically to our CRM system
- Produce regular client deliverables on market commentary, portfolio reviews and performance reporting
- Support the team by organising the sales pipeline, providing regular MI reporting and supporting distribution efforts
- Co‑ordinate projects for clients by working with the research, portfolio management and operations teams
- Suggest more efficient ways of working and help the team to implement new ideas
- Coordinate mailings including managing mailing lists; keep lists current and send mailings out via emails

- Degree level education, with relevant experience ideally within an investment management business
- Self‑starter who is adaptive, fast‑learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well‑organized, detail‑oriented and committed to accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional aptitude for following up and following through on assigned tasks
- Interest in investment issues and desire to deepen knowledge over time.
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Functional with the internet/intranet, proprietary software and use of AI
- Willingness to travel periodically to connect with the team in person
