Description
WTW is looking for a technically strong, highly organised Directors & Officers Broker to join our FINEX Private Equity D&O team, working closely with the UK D&O practice.
This client-facing role requires strong D&O technical knowledge, the ability to structure D&O programmes, and confidence presenting to clients, prospects, insurers and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will deliver outstanding client service, manage competing priorities under time pressure, and support the continued growth of the Private Equity D&O practice.
The Role
- Deliver outstanding client service to Private Equity clients, portfolio companies and other D&O clients.
- Support the structuring, placement and management of D&O insurance programmes, ensuring solutions are tailored to client needs.
- Prepare, review and issue accurate client documentation in a timely manner, maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Negotiate effectively with insurer partners to secure appropriate terms and outcomes for clients.
- Think strategically, respond quickly to client needs and apply solutions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and deliver external and internal presentations on D&O-related topics, WTW products and client solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients, prospects, insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and collaborate with other areas of the WTW business.
- Work effectively under time constraints and pressure, managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with the UK D&O team and wider FINEX colleagues to deliver joined-up client service.
Qualifications
- What you’ll bring
- Strong technical understanding of Directors & Officers Liability Insurance.
- Experience structuring and placing D&O programmes.
- Experience within D&O, Financial Lines, FINEX, Management Liability or a related insurance broking environment.
- Private Equity D&O experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients, prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with insurer partners.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- Able to think on their feet and apply strategies effectively.
- ACII qualification preferred but not essential
