This is an exciting opportunity for a competent account manager to join an existing team. The Enterprise team deals with prospects and clients and manages their employees' risk benefit policies via telephone, typically working with clients with smaller policies or without face-to-face meetings. The Client Management team handles prospects and clients, managing their employee risk benefit policies via telephone, Microsoft Teams, and occasionally face-to-face meetings. The account manager's responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an existing client portfolio
  • Handling new business inquiries
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities
  • Selling additional products to existing and new clients

The goal is to minimize policy lapses, ensure client satisfaction for renewals, and maximize product sales to meet the annual business plan. As a Group Risk Consultant, your duties will include:

  • Conducting monthly pre-renewal, renewal, and mid-term calls with clients to secure contract renewals
  • Issuing market reviews for contracts undergoing rate reviews, providing recommendations based on client needs to ensure compliance and best advice
  • Identifying key decision-makers within each client and maintaining regular contact
  • Understanding and adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements, including complaints processes, FCA, FOS, DPA, and TCF
  • Generating sales leads proactively
  • Assessing and recommending suitable products and services to meet client requirements, maintaining high service standards
  • Using client interactions to gather data, identify opportunities for business development, and increase income from each client
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with insurers and providers
  • Staying informed on market developments and legislative changes
  • Completing data entry accurately in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system
