An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Networks Division for an experienced Insurance Relationship Manager to join our Business Partner Team.

Reporting to the Head of Client Service, you will manage relationships with a panel of Network Members and work closely with key Insurer Partners.

You will be responsible for delivering value through the Willis Networks proposition, building trusted partnerships and identifying opportunities to support business growth.

The Network provides members with enhanced access to insurer markets, specialist Willis expertise, exclusive products, training and support across areas including marketing, compliance and strategic development.

We work closely with a defined panel of Insurer Partners to create opportunities and deliver value for our members.

The Role

  • Build a strong understanding of Network Members' businesses, objectives and strategies, ensuring they access the right elements of the Willis Networks proposition at the right time.
  • Manage relationships with selected Network Members across the UK, understanding their placement strategies and working with appropriate insurer markets to deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with Insurer Partners, providing insight, identifying opportunities and resolving issues for Network Members.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities that support Network Member development, insurer engagement and Willis Networks growth.
  • Deliver agreed revenue growth and operating income targets across your portfolio.
  • Maintain clear action plans and demonstrate progress and delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Analyse business plans, data and market situations to provide informed recommendations and practical solutions.

  • Experience managing insurance broker relationships and developing accounts, ideally within the SME insurance market.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple Network Member and Insurer Partner relationships.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and business information into actionable recommendations.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the wider business.
  • A strong commitment to client service, market integrity and delivering high-quality outcomes.
