We are seeking an experienced climate and energy professional to join the Climate Practice at Willis Towers Watson in a consulting and advisory capacity. This role combines business development, client advisory, and project delivery, with a strong focus on climate transition risk, scenario analysis, and financial quantification. The successful candidate will lead client engagements, develop revenue pipelines, manage multidisciplinary teams, and act as a trusted technical expert supporting corporate clients and asset owners in navigating climate-related risks, regulatory requirements, and strategic responses.

As a senior member of the global Climate Practice, you will be responsible for both originating and delivering advisory projects across climate risk, energy transition, and resilience. You will work closely with corporate clients and internal stakeholders to provide high-quality, analytically robust insights that inform strategic decision‑making.

  • Leading business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and pipeline growth across corporate and asset owner clients.
  • Managing and delivering complex climate risk and transition advisory projects, taking full ownership of project narrative, outputs, and client presentations.
  • Acting as a technical subject matter expert on climate transition risk, scenario analysis, and the evolving quantitative aspects of climate‑related financial disclosures (IFRS, CSRD, TCFD).
  • Managing and mentoring teams of analysts, ensuring high‑quality quantitative and qualitative outputs in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Guiding analysts in synthesizing and analyzing large datasets to produce clear, decision‑ready insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Supporting clients in developing strategic responses to climate risk, including business strategy, MCA, adaptation planning, and risk transfer solutions.
  • Working closely with sales colleagues and regional teams to bring the Willis climate offering to our clients and identified prospects.
  • Collaborating closely with the wider Climate Practice and contributing to the growth and development of the combined climate offering, particularly around evolving climate physical risk analysis that can be integrated with climate transition risk.
  • Travelling as required to support client delivery and business development efforts.

We are looking for a self‑driven, analytical, and commercially minded professional with deep expertise in climate and energy topics and the ability to operate at senior client levels.

  • Strong expertise in climate transition risk, climate scenario analysis, and related financial and economic impacts.
  • Solid understanding of ISSB IFRS (particularly S2), CSRD (particularly E1), and TCFD disclosure requirements, particularly climate scenarios and transition risk analysis.
  • Experience in financial quantification, financial modelling, and working closely with finance teams; background in economics, finance, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Knowledge of climate scenario modelling, micro‑ and macro‑economic analysis, and market modelling (long‑term supply/demand/price forecasting).
  • Proven experience managing multiple analysts and complex projects in a fast‑paced consulting or advisory environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with analytical tools such as Python, R, or Stata is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools is also helpful.
  • Strongly advantageous to have familiarity with approaches to identify and quantify climate physical risk, and how to translate these into financial impacts for a business.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to senior, non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
