Join us as Account Executive within our GB Retail Transportation Team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients and prospects and will be responsible for a portfolio of Transport clients and prospects. You will coordinate activity across multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless service delivery, supporting client retention, account development and new business growth. Working with an experienced team, you will develop a deep understanding of client businesses and provide tailored insurance and risk management solutions across the Transport sector including Rail, Bus & Coach, Haulage & Logistics and Transport Infrastructure clients.
The Role
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of Transport clients, understanding their businesses and risk management needs, acting as a trusted day to day contact and ensuring delivery of high-quality service and advice.
- Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of ongoing client service, including renewals and mid-term adjustments, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Support the preparation of client documentation, including reports, renewal packs, and presentations.
- Contribute to accurate budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking for the client portfolio.
- Work closely with broking teams and maintain effective relationships with insurers and market contacts to support placement activity and deliver optimal client outcomes.
- Provide feedback on client needs, market conditions, and service improvements, supporting the implementation of actions to enhance client retention and process performance.
- Support business development activity, including contributing to the sales process, helping win, retain, and develop profitable clients within the Transport sector.
Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial clients ideally in the Transport sector.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance markets and core insurance principles.
- Proven ability to build, manage and develop client relationships, delivering excellent client service while supporting account growth and new business development.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams to deliver client and business objectives.
- Strong digital literacy and experience working with processes and systems to support consistent client service delivery.
- Degree level education preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Professional qualifications (e.g. ACII) or working towards desirable.
