We’re building something new and special at Willis Re, a high-performing reinsurance team of experts, deliberately built from the ground up. To realise this ambition, we’re seeking driven, commercially minded individuals who want to help shape the future of the business, not simply join it.
Our team is expanding and we have ambitious plans to grow the business across Property and Casualty and all Specialty lines of business and become the reinsurance broker of the future. We are keen to engage with high-performing, experienced senior brokers and producers who combine strong technical capability with a genuinely client-focused approach.
The ideal candidate will bring deep market insight, analytical rigour, and a proven ability to translate data and insights into meaningful, innovative reinsurance solutions. You will be trusted to build and deepen long-term client relationships, advise on complex specialty risks, and play a key role in driving the strategic growth while contributing to the broader strategic growth of Willis Re.

Role Responsibilities- Crafting and delivering new reinsurance opportunities and growing revenue with existing and future clients.
- Playing an active role in delivering strategic growth initiatives, respond to tenders and handle high-value deals.
- Serve as a point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness.
- Conduct strategic reviews, renewal planning, and risk advisory sessions with clients.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Willis Re’s portfolio.
- Analyse underwriting data, loss trends, pricing models, and market capacity to inform placement strategies.
- Use data visualisation tools to present insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with actuarial and analytics teams to assess portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor exposure accumulations and model catastrophe scenarios for specialty risks.
- Assist with the structuring, negotiation, and placement of reinsurance programmes across specialty lines.
- Develop bespoke solutions tailored to client risk profiles and market conditions.
- Maintain strong relationships with global reinsurers to secure optimal terms and capacity.
- Track global developments in specialty risk sectors and regulatory environments.
- Contribute to the development of new reinsurance products and coverage enhancements.
- Ensure all placements and documentation meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee transaction workflows, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Contribute to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
- Previous proven reinsurance broking experience.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance structures.
- Advanced negotiation skills and deep market relationships with global reinsurers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage complex placements under tight timelines.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; professional designations (e.g., ACII) beneficial.
