Our client, a leader in global aerospace component manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer, to join their engineering department based in Havering, Greater London.

- On-site parking Purpose of the Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer Reporting to the Production Manager, you will develop efficient, accurate and repeatable CNC manufacturing processes that support the production of high‑precision aerospace components.
The Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer will create CNC programmes, tooling solutions and process documentation while driving continuous improvement to enhance quality, productivity and cost‑effectiveness across the machining function.
Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer
- Produce accurate CNC programmes for 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining.
- Design jigs, fixtures and work holdings for new and existing components.
- Define tooling, routings and process requirements to support production.
- Deliver engineering tasks on time and within budget.
- Create and maintain clear process documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement across machining and manufacturing.

- Strong CNC programming experience across 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining.
- Proven background in precision engineering, ideally within aerospace.

- Competence in problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities.
