Our client, a global leading container shipping company which provides customized shipping services for different cargo including container cargo (dry, reefer and special cargo) and bulk cargo for raw materials, are looking to recruit a Equipment Control Coordinator to join their team and offices within the East London area.

Main Purpose of the Equipment Control Coordinator:
Reporting to the Equipment Control Manager, this role is to control overall Co-ordination, Maintenance & Repair of company’s containers.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Equipment Control Coordinator:
General Management -
- In time EOR Creation from Local – Control Lead Time
- Approve heavy damaged EOR not authorized by local side
- EDI connection with vendor itself (=Only new and not synced one)
- M&R Vendor set-up (=Mostly Input into system + Contract Approval)
- Off-Hire EOR check
- Tariffs Management + Service Provider Contract Rate Management
Sales Control
- Check out Local Container Sales
- 2nd hand market research
- Co-ordinate with Local & HQ any guide for Sales
Special Container Managing-
- Decide economical repair for the heavily damaged containers
- Idling control + PTI + Malfunction handling as coordinator
- Ship-kit supplement
- Part Credit: Spare part controlling
- IoT set-up
Controlling Local Work-
- On-site inspection in local country
- Controlling ACEP
- Any kind of request by HQ related to M&R
Total Loss -
- Clear out the TL case from the locals
- Connect to TT Club if needed – Simply coordinate to HQ
- TL payment controlling / Collecting – Managing Outstanding
To Be Considered:
- Sound knowledge of Equipment Control gained working directly for a leading container shipping company
- Computer literate with Microsoft tools, particularly Excel
- Competent written and oral communication in English
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
