Due to company growth, our client is recruiting for a number of Driver Guards / Delivery Drivers to work out of a distribution facility in the London Heathrow area.

Main Purpose of the Role: As a Driver Guard (Delivery Driver), you will become a part of a new logistics team specialising in handling the movement of high value goods. You will work closely with your colleagues to deliver an excellent service experience to all clients. You'll play a key role in the company’s service delivery, representing the business with professionalism and helping to maintain strong customer relationships. You'll be responsible for the secure transportation of high value goods in an armoured vehicle between clients and destinations, ensuring high standards of service and safety. You'll complete deliveries with precision, adhere to safety protocols, and perform vehicle checks before each journey to guarantee reliable service.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Driver Guard (Delivery Driver):
- Timely pick-up and delivery of high value shipments in and around London
- Updating and maintaining logs
- Loading and unloading shipments from vehicle
- Ensure all quality control, safety and protection procedures are updated and adhered to
- Provide great customer service at all times
- Vehicles check at start and end of day
- Attending shows and events when needed
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience of delivering high value goods or time critical shipments in the London area
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally with high value goods or time critical shipments
- Valid full clean UK driving licence
- No criminal convictions or driving bans – subject to full DBS check
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent geographical knowledge of London
- Previous experience is desirable
- Out of hours and / or weekend availability may be required
- Excellent time keeping skills. Must be flexible and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative
- Possession of licence of Security Operator (SIA) is a plus, however not essential
