Our client, a leading stockist and distributor of electrical and electronic components serving high-reliability manufacturing companies within the aerospace industry is recruiting for a Business Development Manager based at offices near Crawley, West Sussex. The successful candidates will drive revenue growth by building strong customer relationships, understanding client requirements, maintaining solid product knowledge, and leading negotiations to secure profitable orders.

Main Purpose of the Role: Reporting to senior management, the Business Development Manager will drive sales activities by creating great relationships with customers, being aware of their needs and the products the business supplies. Taking lead in negotiating with customers to win profitable orders.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Respond to customer quotation requests, assess available options, and prepare accurate quotes
- Monitor open quotations and negotiate to secure profitable sales
- Develop an understanding of key customer needs and position the organisation as their preferred supplier
- Build product knowledge across the company’s supported ranges and franchises
- Provide post sales support to maximise customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
